
Melodie Learning is seeking passionate and dedicated Tutors to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess strong backgrounds in their respective subjects and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized and goal-oriented tutoring. Experience teaching/tutoring online preferred. Positions are part-time with flexible afternoon and evening hours. In-person tutoring available locally.
Responsibilities

Provide virtual one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in your subject area.

Promote and reinforce executive functioning skills and encourage the student’s self-advocacy.

Develop personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals.

Implement goal-oriented tutoring strategies to help students meet or exceed their personal and academic goals.

Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding key concepts.

Track student progress and send follow-up emails when needed.

Answer student questions via email throughout the week.

Collaborate with parents and teachers to support student success.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in your subject area, education, or a related field preferred.

Previous virtual or hybrid tutoring or teaching experience preferred.

Experience working with students with special needs or I.E.P.s.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience and adaptability to different learning styles.

Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
